Fourth International Workshop on culture and civilization. "Wittgenstein: doubt, religion and ethics".

The aim of this fourth meeting on culture and civilization is to analyze Wittgenstein's philosophy of religion and ethics, its antecedents, and some of its epistemological implications. For this edition, the invited speakers are: Jean Pierre Cometti (Université de Provence), Joan, B. Llinares (Universitat de València), Luigi Perissinotto (Università Ca 'Foscari Venezia) and Chon Tejedor (Oxford University).

This fourth international Workshop is organized by the research team funded by the MCINN of Spain: "Culture and religion: Wittgenstein and the counter-enlightenment". The Workshop is open to all persons interested in the topics to be discussed. Although there is no registration fee, notification (by e-mail: Vicente.Sanfelix@uv.es) of intent to attend the workshop will be gratly appreciated. 

 Call for papers: We invite submissions of extended abstracts of up to 500 words (of a 30 minutes talk) by sending an attachment to Vicente.Sanfelix@uv.es by 1 May 2010. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by 15 May 2010.
